The Anonymous Tip Hotline* accepts calls from individuals reporting bars,
restaurants or stores suspected of selling or serving alcohol to underage
or intoxicated persons.
The 24-hour anonymous tip hotline is open to anyone, such as restaurant and bar patrons and community residents. All calls received on the hotline are documented and forwarded to your local police department for investigation. Investigating or taking action regarding a tip is at the discretion of the police department.
When you call the hotline, you will have 3 minutes to complete your message. Please be sure to leave the following information:
The name and location of the establishment
The details of the sale or service to underage or intoxicated persons
When the alleged event took place & if it is an ongoing activity
The hotline is an important resource which engages the community in efforts to reduce underage and high-risk drinking.
*To maintain anonymity, the hotline is not equipped with caller identification,
and callers are not asked to identify themselves.
*Funding for the Anonymous Tip Hotline is made possible through a grant
by the State of Georgia’s Children and Youth Coordinating Council.
