GT SMART (Students Managing Alcohol Risk at Tech) is a campus-community coalition within the Office of the Dean of Students at Georgia Tech. GT SMART was established to address high-risk drinking and its harmful effects on Georgia Tech's campus and in the community. GT SMART is part of the "A Matter of Degree" (AMOD) project, a national effort to reduce alcohol consumption among college students. Georgia Tech is one of ten universities in the country to receive a grant for the AMOD project. Read more....

GT SMART and the GT Parents Program offer parents of freshmen students the opportunity to participate in an oline program that can assist them in preparing their student to make responsible decisions during what may be his o her first time away from home.
